Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a MuleSoft Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform. The role focuses on APIs, data transformations, and system integrations across enterprise apps.

The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in a Cognizant San Francisco office. Strong leadership and hands-on MuleSoft/API skills are essential to drive secure, scalable integrations and incident-resilient services.

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of enterprise integration experience.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform expertise.
• End-to-end API lifecycle management with API Manager.
• Experience with AWS Kiro or equivalent tools.
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft and AWS Kiro.
• Drive the API lifecycle from design to deployment and governance.
• Define reusable API-led integration patterns, payload structures, and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for architecture, development, testing, and QA.
• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, monitoring and alerting controls.
