Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a MuleSoft Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and AWS Kiro. You will lead API lifecycle, security, and governance, while mentoring engineers and driving reusable patterns across utilities and critical services.

The role is hybrid with 2 days/week in a Cognizant/San Francisco office, offering a comprehensive benefits program and discretionary incentive. Strong leadership and deep MuleSoft expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise integration experience with leadership in delivery of critical solutions.
• Strong hands-on MuleSoft expertise and API-led connectivity.
• Experience with end-to-end API lifecycle management and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of secure, scalable integration solutions across MuleSoft and AWS Kiro.
• Oversee API design, deployment, governance, and monitoring.
• Define reusable integration patterns and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across architecture, development, and QA.
• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, and alerting controls.
• Mentor engineers on API design and integration best practices.
