Job summary

Cognizant in San Francisco, CA is seeking a MuleSoft Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform. The role focuses on APIs, data transformations, and cross‑system integrations in a hybrid work model.

You will lead API lifecycle, define integration patterns, and mentor engineers across MuleSoft and AWS components while ensuring security and reliability for critical services.

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of enterprise integration experience with leadership in delivering complex solutions.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform expertise including API-led connectivity and DataWeave.
• Experience with API Manager and end-to-end API lifecycle management.
• Experience with AWS Kiro or equivalent AI-assisted engineering tools for design and development.
• Strong knowledge of API security and data protection.
• Experience delivering resilient integration services with logging, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of secure, scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft and AWS Kiro.
• Drive end-to-end API lifecycle management from design to deployment and governance.
• Define reusable integration patterns, payload structures, and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for architecture, development, troubleshooting, and QA.
• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, monitoring, and alerts.
