Regal Rexnord seeks an Application Engineer for Portescap in the West Chester, PA area. The role blends technical engineering, customer liaison, and project management to deliver precision motion solutions for aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial applications.

You will work on highly engineered motors, gearboxes, and motion control systems, interfacing with customers, sales, and engineering teams throughout product lifecycles; travel 15–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering.
• 3–5+ years of engineering experience in application/sales/systems engineering or related customer-facing roles.
• Experience collaborating with customers to develop and deliver technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers throughout the sales and development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements, challenges, and objectives.
• Develop and propose standard or customized motion control solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications for engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Lead customer programs from concept through development, qualification, testing, and production.
