Job summary

Planet Home Lending is looking for a Mitigation Coordinator to manage defaulted loans and negotiate solutions to avoid foreclosure. As part of a dedicated team, you'll use your expertise to evaluate properties and apply creative methods for resolution.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with foreclosure laws. A strong benefits package is provided, including medical plans and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mitigation, collections and/or default servicing experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience analyzing mortgagors for loan modifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of defaulted loans to mitigate losses.
• Negotiate with borrowers and develop solutions to avoid foreclosure.
• Maintain records for modifications and other resolutions.
