Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado is seeking an External Mortgage Loan Officer to generate mortgage production through outside sales while guiding members through the loan process to closing. You will build partnerships with realtors, builders, and community partners to promote CUofCO’s mortgage products and programs.

The role requires a minimum of two years mortgage lending experience; a strong referral network is preferred. A hybrid work model and pay-for-performance with bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years mortgage lending experience.
• Existing referral network of realtors/builders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, strengthen, and maintain referral relationships with external partners to grow self-generated mortgage production.
• Promote CUofCO’s mortgage products through field visits, networking, and community engagement.
• Guide applicants through the mortgage process from consultation to closing.
• Adhere to TRID, HMDA, RESPA, ECOA, Reg B, Reg Z, and CUofCO policies.
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in LOS/CRM.
