Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years recent residential mortgage lending experience; Fulton Mortgage Company Associate Mortgage Loan Officer Program may be accepted in lieu of 1 year residential mortgage lending experience.
• 1+ years proven ability to develop referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develops and expands referral sources to solicit first mortgages. Maintains regular contact with Realtors and builders; meets with developers and attends real estate events.
• Collects and analyzes applicant's financial information to assess qualification for a loan; interviews applicants and explains options and risks.
• Engages in customer-focused sales activities to promote Fulton Bank services and cross-sell other products.
• Handles loan documentation, follows up with customers via calls and email, and ensures regulatory compliance throughout the loan process.
