Job summary

WesBanco in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks a Mortgage Loan Originator for a hybrid role, splitting time between remote and office on a formalized schedule. You will originate various mortgage loans and build a portfolio by working with customers, real estate professionals, and senior management guidance.

You will pre-qualify buyers, complete applications, collect necessary documents, review credit, and ensure timely disclosures and delivery to processing partners.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

Responsibilities

• Be the content expert on all WesBanco mortgage programs and products.
• Listen to customer needs and align them with the appropriate product.
• Pre-qualify purchase customers as requested.
• Complete loan applications in the Origination System currently used by WesBanco Bank.
• Obtain all necessary documentation specific to the product and client needs.
• Review documentation to ensure industry standards and credit requirements are met.
• Disclose and provide required documentation within 3 days of application.
• Deliver a complete application electronically to processing partner within 3 days, with customer docs within 5 days.
• Promote WesBanco mortgage within the real estate community and attend events.
