Swoon in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, seeks an Associate Platform Product Owner for mobile initiatives across client apps. You will translate business goals into actionable stories, collaborate with IT, UX, and Analytics, and drive outcomes-based work.

The role focuses on defining the mobile foundation, coordinating with vendors, and delivering a best-in-class digital experience across mobile channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of mobile application frameworks and Android/iOS differences.
• Experience with client/airline system interactions (Sabre, ITA, eTDS).
• At least three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong analytical background.
• Ability to communicate effectively in technical language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, UX, and Analytics to understand customer behavior and create exceptional experiences.
• Promote mobile tools and features that help other products achieve goals while aligning with mobile vision.
• Keep stakeholders informed of outcomes, insights, progress, and changes.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Support the development and implementation of new mobile features and tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog management.
• Translate business objectives into clear user stories and define technical specs.
• Manage the mobile platform backlog and prioritize high-impact work.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to build mobile tools and offerings.
• Support DevOps by troubleshooting issues and prioritizing fixes.
• Partner with IT architects to develop solutions delivering value while reducing costs.
• Lead demonstrations to update stakeholders on new features.
• Write and accept user stories with other business units.
• Identify metrics and continuously measure and improve product outcomes.
