Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of mobile application frameworks and Android/iOS differences.
• Experience with client/airline system interactions (Sabre, ITA, eTDS).
• At least three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong analytical background.
• Ability to communicate effectively in technical language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, UX, and Analytics to understand customer behavior and create exceptional experiences.
• Promote mobile tools and features that help other products achieve goals while aligning with mobile vision.
• Keep stakeholders informed of outcomes, insights, progress, and changes.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Support the development and implementation of new mobile features and tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog management.
• Translate business objectives into clear user stories and define technical specs.
• Manage the mobile platform backlog and prioritize high-impact work.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to build mobile tools and offerings.
• Support DevOps by troubleshooting issues and prioritizing fixes.
• Partner with IT architects to develop solutions delivering value while reducing costs.
• Lead demonstrations to update stakeholders on new features.
• Write and accept user stories with other business units.
• Identify metrics and continuously measure and improve product outcomes.

Job description

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, United States- near DFW airport

Workplace type: HYBRID- onsite Tuesday Wednesday Thursday= (M-F, 40 hour work week)

Type: Contract

Pay: $ 53.37 MAX/hour on w2- client can work on w2 only

Length: 3 months (through end of 2026)

IV process: 2 rounds- one virtual, one onsit

Screenings: full panel drug and background once hired

Must haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
• Understanding of mobile application technology frameworks and the differences between Android and iOS platforms.
• Understanding of how Client/airline systems interact, including Sabre, ITA, and eTDS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience selecting and implementing third-party software development kits to enhance mobile application tools and offerings.

• Mobile, travel, or airline industry experience.

Join the team driving the vision for clients rapidly growing mobile customer channel. This role will leverage the latest technologies to increase revenue, solve customer pain points, and create an industry-leading digital experience.

The Associate Platform Product Owner will help differentiate clients through its mobile products and enhance the company’s offerings across mobile channels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable exploring technical topics, producing thoughtful analysis, and driving work toward objective-based outcomes.

This position will define and deliver the foundation of clients mobile applications, bridging the gap between business, product, and IT teams.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with IT, UX, and Analytics teams to understand customer behavior and create exceptional customer experiences.
• Promote mobile tools and features that help other products achieve their goals while ensuring alignment with the overall mobile vision.
• Keep stakeholders informed of outcomes, insights, progress, and changes as teams work toward established objectives.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking to research new technologies, identify gaps, and uncover opportunities to improve the customer experience.

Tactical Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of new mobile features and tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, iteration planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Translate business objectives into technical specifications by creating clearly written, well-defined user stories.
• Manage the mobile platform backlog and prioritize the highest-impact work based on defined objectives and key results.
• Collaborate with third-party software vendors to build mobile tools and offerings.
• Operate within a DevOps model by helping troubleshoot technical issues and prioritizing defect fixes, minor enhancements, and larger feature initiatives.
• Partner with IT architects and technical leads to develop solutions that quickly deliver customer value while reducing ongoing operational costs.
• Lead software demonstrations to update stakeholders and team members on new features and functionality.
• Partner with other business units to write and accept user stories, ensuring all technical and business requirements are met.
• Identify key metrics and continuously measure, test, and improve product outcomes.
