Job summary

United Way of North Central New Mexico (UWNCNM) seeks a Mid-Level Giving Officer–Corporate Relations to cultivate and steward mid-level and individual donors linked to workplace campaigns. You will work with Corporate Relations Officers to strengthen results, deepen donor engagement, and grow support beyond the annual campaign cycle.

The role manages a portfolio of donors, develops engagement plans, and coordinates follow-up and reporting with Investor Relations and fundraising teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year of fundraising, sales, or nonprofit sector experience, or two+ years in direct fundraising.
• Experience cultivating, stewarding, or communicating with donors, volunteers, corporate campaign contacts, business partners, or community stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage donor portfolios, track follow-up activity, maintain accurate records, and use data for retention, renewal, and upgrades.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving needs.
• Must maintain confidentiality in handling donor, campaign, organizational, and other sensitive information.
• Proficient use of donor management software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Complete accurate and timely data entry.
• Understanding and practical experience with AI, including data analysis and AI-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor portfolios and engage mid-level donors.
• Develop engagement and stewardship strategies focused on retention, renewal, and upgrades.
• Conduct donor visits, meetings, and personalized follow-up communications.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and Corporate Relations Officers on strategy.
• Coordinate donor communications and appreciation activities.
• Represent UWNCNM at donor and community events.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of donor interactions and giving history.
