Job summary

Bombardier Wichita, KS is seeking a Methods Engineer to support production planning and process analysis. You will help assess feasibility, draft documentation, and participate in PCR analyses, with exposure to tool design and capacity planning.

The role requires 0–2 years in methods or related areas, basic SAP/ACAD/Catia V4/V5 knowledge, and a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree (preferred). Eligible candidates will join a team focused on manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area.
• Basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess feasibility by evaluating costs, impacts, and risks of production changes.
• Draft working and repair documents.
• Learn to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Requests).
• Analyze equipment and workstation capacity; create task sequencing and capacity analyses.
• Analyze requirements and initiate production tool purchase orders (including ECAAR).
• Assist with tool designs alongside Methods Planners.
• Direct Methods Planners in creating and revising manufacturing documents (MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Setup documents).
