Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Methods, Material Planning or related field.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• Familiarity with aircraft installation locations.
• Experience with CATIA v4/v5 modeling and analysis.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing fundamentals and MRP.
• Knowledge of CAS, SAP, MACPAC and OSDB databases.
• Basic project management skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Define efficient methods to fabricate and assemble kit components.
• Prepare concepts for interchangeability and part replacement.
• Determine requirements for new manufacturing equipment.
• Support process improvement by reviewing industry standards.
• Incorporate advancements into departmental procedures.
• Monitor workflow and adjust tasks to support projects.
• Provide technical training and assistance.
• Ensure policies are reflected in new documents.
• Lead program reviews, cost reduction, and data management.
• Act as focal for Methods/Material for ROM bids.
• Provide solutions to technical/business problems of moderate scope.
