Job summary

Bombardier US Aerostructures in Texas seeks a Methods/Material Planning professional to support production change feasibility, capacity analysis and document drafting. You will learn to assess costs and risks and assist with Program Change Requests in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role involves helping with tool designs, work instructions and manufacturing documents, while collaborating with Methods Planners to ensure efficient, compliant production processes.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related areas.
• 0–2 years experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area.
• Basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5.
• Basic knowledge of Project Management principles.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to General Work Requirements.
• Assists with analyzing feasibility of production changes by evaluating costs, impacts and risks.
• Assists with drafting necessary working and repair documents.
• Learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request).
• Assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity.
• Initiates production tool purchase orders, including ECAAR.
