Bombardier seeks a Methods Engineer in Tucson, AZ, to support production process analysis and documentation. You will help assess feasibility of changes, draft manufacturing documents, and assist with PCRs and tool planning within a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of relevant experience, basic SAP/ACAD/Catia knowledge, and a mechanical/industrial engineering background. A manufacturing mindset and strong drawing interpretation are valued.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area.
• Basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.
• Manufacturing background preferred; degree in engineering preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in analyzing feasibility of production changes by evaluating costs, impacts, and risks.
• Draft and revise working and repair documents as needed.
• Learn to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Requests).
• Support capacity analysis of equipment and workstations and plan sequencing.
• Assist with tool purchases and ECAAR processes; help tools design with Methods Planners.
• Assist in preparing and revising MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, and related setup documents.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Adheres to General Work Requirements
• Assists with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production
• Assists with drafting the necessary working and repair documents
• Learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request)
• Assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity, as well as creating task sequency and capacity analysis
• Assists with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization)
• Assists Methods Planners with tool designs
• Directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders)

How to thrive in this role?

• You typically have 0-2 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area
• You have basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5
• You have basic knowledge of Project Management principles
• You have the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
• You have manufacturing background (preferred)
• You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
