Job summary

CareSource is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator II to manage retrospective medical record retrieval, ROI deployment, and data documentation. The hybrid role requires one day weekly in the Springfield, MA office with remaining days remote, coordinating with health networks and provider offices to ensure timely chart access.

The candidate will analyze claims data, update databases, and produce reports while maintaining PHI security and contributing to process improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year healthcare experience.
• Minimum one year medical records/EHR/EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute retrieval and pend resolution of medical records.
• Use SFTP portals to transfer PHI data.
• Collaborate with health systems to process ROI requests.
• Update databases and document context.
• Verify accuracy of retrieved records.
• Support risk adjustment initiatives.
• Reconcile invoices related to retrieval.
• Perform other duties as requested.
