Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a non-clinical support professional to assist the Medical Management and/or Operations teams. This contract role is based in Florida and follows Elevance Health’s hybrid work approach.

Candidates will gather clinical information for referrals, provide provider and program information, assist with complex cases, maintain tracking databases, and prepare reports. Requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; Spanish speaking is a plus; schedule

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience.
Understanding of managed care or Medicaid/Medicare strongly preferred.
Spanish-speaking associate preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide non-clinical support to Medical Management and/or Operations.
Gathers clinical information regarding case and determines appropriate area to refer or assign case (utilization management, case management, QI, Med Review).
Provides information regarding network providers or general program information when requested.
May assist with complex cases.
May act as liaison between Medical Management and/or Operations and internal departments.
Maintains and updates tracking databases.
Prepares reports and documents all actions.
