Job summary

Yale Cancer Center is seeking a Manager of Education to oversee residency and fellowship education and training, including ACGME and non-ACGME programs, HR, and budget support. The role requires coordinating across departments, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality educational experiences for trainees.

The position reports to the Associate Director of Administration for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, with responsibilities spanning student observerships, internships, and visiting

Qualifications

• 1. Demonstrated experience with high level management of Residency/Fellowship programs.
• 2. Understanding of ACGME requirements, and experience with ERAS.
• 3. Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and multi-task.
• 4. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present on behalf of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative staff.
• Conceptualizes, develops, and plans for programs.
• Advises participating faculty and staff on models and focus areas.
• Advises leadership on progress and triggers for changes.
• Leads coordination with Yale faculty, partners, and others involved in programs.
