Job summary

Accelerated Urgent Care seeks a Cross-Trained Medical Assistant / Receptionist to support Front Office and Back Office tasks across California clinics. Travel between locations is required.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and proficiency with EMR systems. A Medical Assistant diploma and a High School diploma or GED are required, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in a medical setting. This is a part-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a medical office, urgent care, or receptionist role.
• Proficient with multi-line phone systems and computer-based scheduling.
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and travel between clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists patients at front desk, schedules appointments, and handles registrations.
• Collects payments and explains fees.Assists providers during examinations and procedures.
• Performs basic clinical duties as assigned and supports daily clinic operations.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of reception and clinical areas.
