As a Medical Assistant when the provider is in the office and as part of the Patient Services team otherwise, you’ll help keep patient care smooth and efficient while delivering friendly, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with current BLS certification.
• Experience supporting front desk tasks, phone answering, and scheduling.
• Able to switch between clinical and administrative duties as needs change.
• Strong teamwork and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals and histories, and prepare patients for visits.
• Assist the provider with examinations, procedures, and screenings.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
• Document in the electronic medical record accurately.
• Welcome and check patients in and out; answer phones; schedule appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Assist patients with questions and routine requests.
• Support patient flow and move between clinical and administrative duties as needed.
