Job summary

Urology Associates of Cape Cod in Yarmouth Port, MA is seeking a versatile Front Desk & Medical Assistant to rotate between patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance work, and hands-on clinical support for physicians and APPs.

The role offers a predictable daytime schedule, on-site training, no night or weekend shifts, and pay ranging from $20.00 to $27.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant medical office experience preferred.
• Comfort with administrative and clinical tasks; cross-training possible.
• Excellent communication and HIPAA discretion.
• Organized and dependable in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out, verify demographics and insurance.
• Schedule appointments and manage daily provider schedule.
• Obtain referrals and prior authorizations; answer calls and relay messages.
• Record vitals and assist with procedures; room patients.
• Process prescriptions and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Maintain patient information in the EMR (eClinicalWorks).
