Job summary

LUMINOSITY H&W LLC in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a Hybrid Medical Assistant to support front and back-office operations. Training at flagship practice includes lab orders, documentation uploads, and front desk tasks such as prior authorizations and referrals.

The role reports to the Clinic Administrator, delivering patient care under supervision and maintaining charts, records, and infection control standards in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA certification and BLS certification required or within 60 days of employment.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a provider, assists with patient care.
• Maintains patient charts and records including scanned documents.
• Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection; monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Contacts patients with test results and scheduling instructions.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, infection control.
• Performs administrative duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, patient registration.
• May assist with front office duties and scheduling of tests/appointments.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ensures accurate chart documentation and timely medical record maintenance.
