Qualifications

• Formal Medical Assistant training or 1 year direct patient care experience.
• Clinical competency assessment after hire; MA orientation and potential trainee program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities across clinical and administrative tasks.
• Navigate EPIC EHR, document patient history and medications.
• Schedule and follow up with appointments; manage test scheduling and referrals.
• Assist with medication fill/refill requests and prior authorizations.
