Job summary

Calvert Health System is seeking a dynamic Medical Assistant/Office Assistant to support clinicians in an ambulatory setting. The role involves assisting with examinations, patient care, and administrative duties, with travel between CHMG locations as required.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, CPR within 30 days, and 1–2 years of medical office experience; associates degree or CMA preferred, EMR familiarity essential.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and point of care testing experience required.
• Intermediate computer and typing skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with examinations and treatments under provider supervision.
• Split role to support OA and MA duties; may support multiple locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service in ambulatory setting.
• Perform medical office tasks and administrative support as needed.
• Coordinate with providers, office staff, insurers, and pharmacies.
