Job summary

Chesapeake Specialty Care, a physician-led practice within the University of Maryland Specialty Care Network, is seeking a compassionate, motivated Medical Assistant for a full-time role. We welcome both experienced assistants and those eager to build hands-on clinical experience in a collaborative setting.

You will rotate between four offices in Owings Mills, Rosedale, Westminster, and Columbia, travel between sites as scheduled, and support both clinical and administrative tasks to deliver

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
• Experience in a medical office is beneficial; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients while obtaining medical histories.
• Record vital signs and assist with clinical procedures.
• Process prescription requests in the EHR.
• Coordinate insurance pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Provide administrative support, including phones and patient communication.
• Maintain organized records and support office workflow.
• Adapt to different offices while ensuring consistent patient care.
• Perform additional duties to support the clinical team.
