OrthoCarolina is hiring an Accounts Receivable Representative to join the Revenue Cycle team in Charlotte. The role focuses on aging insurance balances, resolving claim issues, and advising on denials and coding concerns.

The position is hybrid with rotating in-office days. Qualifications include AR experience, ICD-10 knowledge, and CPC preferred; a healthcare background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
• Three years of accounts receivable experience preferred, healthcare setting ideal.
• Experience in ICD-10 and healthcare billing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review aging medical insurance account balances and resolve claim issues.
• Maintain AR queues at an age-based target as defined by management.
• Review and appeal denied claims for bundling and coding issues.
• Follow up on all appeal submissions in a timely manner.
• Process corrected claims and respond to documentation requests promptly.
• Provide feedback to management on assignments and performance.
