Job summary

OrthoCarolina in Charlotte is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our Business Office. This hybrid role involves courteously answering patient account questions and routing calls to the right colleagues.

You will process electronic insurance claims, generate reports, and handle payments. Health care or medical billing experience and a high-volume call environment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Health care and/or medical billing experience.
• Experience processing electronic insurance claims and analyzing claim reports.
• Experience with high-volume call environments (~100 calls per day).

Responsibilities

• Answer and route business office patient account calls to the appropriate individuals.
• Process electronic insurance claims and post them to patient accounts.
• Generate and analyze custom claims reports and handle credit card transactions.
