Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Virtual Designer to join its VDC team. You’ll produce accurate construction documentation and BIM electrical/low voltage models, integrating into project workflows.

Collaborate with executives, managers, and the design team to draft high-quality 2D/3D drawings, perform clash detection, and support design-to-build coordination to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years CAD drafting with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical systems.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft accurate electrical design plans and BIM models for projects.
• Collaborate with management and design teams to meet milestones.

About the positionAs a virtual designer at Power Design, you’ll work directly with the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) project executives and managers, aiding them by providing accurate construction documentation. Our virtual designers are CADD experts who integrate themselves into the workflow to produce construction documents and coordination packages, creating complete BIM electrical and low voltage models.
