Job summary

DeZURIK, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to assist in the research, design, development, and validation of mechanical products and systems under close supervision.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to apply fundamental principles, prepare drawings, BOMs, and test plans, and use CAD/CAE tools to document designs while supporting cost, quality, and reliability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years drafting or design experience, including internships or co-ops.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop mechanical and electromechanical products and systems.
• Support product development from concept to validation and refinement.
• Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and test plans.
• Model designs using CAD/CAE tools and document engineering work.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Ensure designs meet cost, safety, and manufacturability targets.
