Job summary

DeZURIK in Houston, TX is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, and support safe, efficient operations.

This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in a precision machine shop, and valve industry knowledge as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a precision machine shop preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Valve manufacturing or valve maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate and schedule outside contractors and service providers for building and equipment repairs.
• Order maintenance and shop supplies as needed to support operations.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance team members to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Serve as an active participant in safety initiatives and promote safe work practices throughout the facility.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
