ASSA ABLOY Group seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and support configurable automatic door solutions from concept through production release. You will design new products, create prototypes, validate performance, and support manufacturing implementation in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years in electromechanical design, proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), and experience with BOMs, GD&T, and DFMA.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of product/ mechanical design experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD and BOMs.
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop automatic door products and enhancements with emphasis on configurability.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and multi-level BOMs.
• Build and test prototypes, develop test plans, analyze results, and implement improvements.
• Support manufacturing launches and DFMA considerations.
• Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, sourcing, and service teams.
