Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan seeks a Core MBSE Engineer to develop and deploy MBSE tools globally within the Global MBSE/Design organization. This hybrid role requires commuting distance from the Dearborn worksite and uses MATLAB/Simulink, CarMaker, scripting, and REST API to advance MBSE workflows.

You will create training materials, documentation, and user guides, while supporting MBSE communities and collaborating on autonomous, electrification, and smart mobility initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 3 years of experience in MBSE.
• 3 years of experience with MATLAB/Simulink scripting to automate modeling artifacts.
• Experience deploying MBSE tools/methods and UI development using MATLAB App Designer and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy MBSE tools and methods for Virtual Vehicle Verification and global deployment.
• Develop training materials and documentation for MBSE tools.
• Provide training and support to MBSE community.
• Maintain documentation/videos for MBSE tools and methods and evaluate new MBSE tools from vendors.
