Qualifications

• Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught.
• Unofficial graduate transcripts must be uploaded with the application.
• Degrees must be accredited by USDOE CHEA or equivalent international accreditation.
• Additional state licensing/accreditation requirements may apply.
• Faculty must have outstanding communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides students with an approved DeVry University syllabus following campus templates.
• Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises all course materials.
• Uses online technologies and course software for accessible delivery.
• Models effective oral and written communications to engage students.
• Publishes course objectives, dates, and grade weight distributions.
• Ensures exams reflect course objectives and appropriate content.
• Demonstrates fairness in grading and provides timely feedback.
• Embraces responsible use of AI technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Recognizes and addresses appropriate AI use by students.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
