Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a Hybrid Math Instructor / Tutor to provide an engaging math learning experience for elementary students. This part-time position offers virtual teaching with optional in-center hours at Brookfield locations, plus training in the Mathnasium Method™.

Applicants must complete a math literacy test, pass a background check, and be available for specific hours in the late afternoon. Milwaukee-area residents are encouraged to apply.

• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work
• Support kids to grow in skills and confidence, in every tutoring session

Position Summary

We are looking for an awesome Hybrid Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging learning experience for students in elementary school. This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique role focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills.

All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency (don't worry, it's not that hard) and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is given the opportunity to complete training in the Mathnasium Method™. This is a part-time role with set hours in a virtual platform and optional in center hours. Seeking people to fill SPECIFIC HOURS teaching VIRTUALLY from 3:45-5:15pm (CT) Mondays and Thursdays, Additional hours available in center at our Wauwatosa, Brookfield or Waukesha locations M-Th 3-7pm (CT) and Sat 10am-2pm (CT).

Must live in the Milwaukee area and be able to train at one of our three locations (Wauwatosa, Brookfield or Waukesha). Top notch high school students, college students, teachers, and retirees are encouraged to apply!
