Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose Company in North America seeks a Production Planner & Master Scheduler to own end-to-end planning for all network assets. This hybrid role reports to the NA PPS Manager and focuses on a single master schedule from raw material to customer delivery.

Responsibilities include publishing committed dates, coordinating demand against capacity, and partnering with procurement to manage material lead times.

Qualifications

• Must have end-to-end planning experience from raw material through production scheduling to order confirmation.
• 5–8 years in production planning or materials planning in a continuous or semi-continuous environment.
• Proven ability to improve machine efficiency via campaign sequencing and changeover reduction.

Responsibilities

• Own the master production schedule for all assets in the network.
• Publish, track and communicate committed dates; manage 7-day schedule lock windows.
• Coordinate demand vs capacity, material availability, and frozen period constraints.
• Collaborate with procurement on raw-material lead times and supply risks.
• Route schedule changes through defined escalation paths and avoid reactive changes.
• Monitor inventory, MPQ, and finished-goods flow across sites.
• Track machine efficiency and reduce grade-changeovers through campaign-based planning.
