Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a Sales/Account Support professional for our Downers Grove, IL office. The role is hybrid—three days in the office and two days remote—supporting sales and account management in prospecting, acquiring, or renewing business.

The position requires a Bachelor Degree and relevant health insurance/healthcare experience, along with state insurance licensing. Strong communication and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 1 year of experience in health insurance/health care field in a service/sales/marketing role.
• State Insurance License(s) required or to be obtained within required time frame.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including telephone skills.
• Able to interact professionally with internal and external contacts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales or Account Management personnel in prospecting or renewing business.
• May conduct research for prospective business and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate meetings and relay information to the team.
• Develop relationships with customer representatives and prepare enrollment materials.
• Prepare documentation for customers and review forms for completeness.
• Travel to customer sites may be required.
