LHH Recruitment is assisting a prominent law firm in Chicago in hiring a Marketing and Business Development professional. The role focuses on supporting growth initiatives, proposal development, attorney marketing efforts, and client engagement within a professional services environment.

The ideal candidate has legal marketing or professional services marketing experience, with strong writing and communications skills, and proficiency with CRM, CMS, and proposal tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in business, marketing or related field
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing or business development
• Prior law firm experience is preferred
• Experience using CRM, CMS (content management systems) and proposal generation tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating pitch materials, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Help develop presentations and other materials used to win new business.
• Track business development activities and results.
• Maintain attorney biographies, practice descriptions, presentations, website content, and other marketing collateral.
• Update experience and client databases to ensure information is accurate and current.
• Assist with developing content that highlights firm capabilities and successes.
• Coordinate participation in conferences, seminars, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
