Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Project Manager, Manufacturing Transformation to lead cross-site manufacturing initiatives, coordinating plant closures, openings, transfers, and capacity changes across the US and international sites. You will shape program plans, budgets, and governance with senior leadership guidance.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing/program management, strong Lean/Six Sigma and financial acumen, and travel as needed. Hybrid work options are available in Pittsburgh and Plymouth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or program management.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional manufacturing projects in a multi-site environment.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing locations based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of plant closures, openings, consolidations, expansions, and footprint initiatives.
• Coordinate domestic/international product line transfers, equipment moves, inventory, and documentation.
• Develop integrated project plans with scope, milestones, budgets, and decision gates.
• Manage governance, risk, change control, and executive status reporting.
