Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Project Manager, Manufacturing Transformation to lead complex, multi-site manufacturing initiatives. You will translate strategy into executable programs, driving plant closures, openings, consolidations, and product line transfers while maintaining customer, quality, safety, and delivery performance during major change.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams from planning through transfer, launch, stabilization, and benefits realization, requiring disciplined program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or program management.
• Proven leadership of complex, cross-functional manufacturing projects in a multi-site environment.
• Experience with plant closures/startups, site consolidation, product line transfers, or capacity expansion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of plant closures, openings, consolidations, expansions, and manufacturing footprint initiatives.
• Manage domestic and international product line transfers, including equipment, inventory, and process knowledge transfer.
• Translate strategies into integrated project plans with milestones, owners, budgets, and decision gates.
• Coordinate ramp-downs and readiness of receiving sites, including capacity, staffing, layout, and quality considerations.
• Establish program governance, risk and issue management, change control, and executive reporting.
