Job summary

Hitachi Energy Korea is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing through purchase execution, supplier coordination, and performance management.

You will manage requisitions, orders, and supplier communications in ERP, while monitoring delivery, cost, and risk to support continuous improvement and supply continuity in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 3–8 years procurement experience in manufacturing or energy.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Ability to analyze quotations, supplier data and performance.
• Strong negotiation and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities based on material requirements and terms.
• Generate, review, release, and follow up requisitions and orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers for acknowledgments and delivery dates in ERP.
• Expedite/open orders to address shortages and priorities.
• Lead supplier negotiations on price, lead time, and terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions.
• Analyze procurement data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with planning, production, engineering, and finance.
