Job summary

Talent Shift, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Analyst for a project-based role, with a hybrid schedule out of Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL. The position supports manufacturing planning through forecasting, financial reporting, and operational accounting analysis.

You will analyze costs, trends, variances, and data to validate forecasts, partnering with operations and finance to deliver clear, actionable reporting, using advanced Excel for modeling and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience as Financial Analyst or Cost Analyst or similar analytical finance role.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Reside in the continental United States and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform forecasting, financial reporting, and operational accounting analysis.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, trends, variances, and underlying financial assumptions.
• Gather and validate data to determine whether forecasts and assumptions hold.
• Partner with operations and finance teams to provide clear, actionable reporting.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
