LAPP is seeking a Manufacturing Controller in Florham Park, NJ, a hands-on finance leader blending cost accounting with manufacturing insight. You will own month-end processes, cost centers, and ERP-based controlling while partnering with plant operations to drive transparency and performance.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, shopfloor KPI translation to financial outcomes, and strategic guidance across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Strong SAP or local ERP knowledge

Responsibilities

• Own month-end cost accounting, closing, and ERP-based controlling processes with governance and data quality.
• Oversee standard costing, capital investments, and business cases for long-term planning.
• Partner with Plant Management, Production, Process Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics to balance financial and operational goals.
• Translate shop-floor KPI drivers (OEE, downtime, scrap, materials) into financial implications.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across the site.
