Job summary

NOBEL Women in Nebraska is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will work on cost drivers, analyze data, and support strategic decisions with insights from financial information.

Reporting to the Cost Accounting Supervisor, you will assist with month-end close, prepare journal entries in BlackLine, and collaborate with Operations on inventory, fixed assets, and WIP verifications. This hybrid role requires regular onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close processes in line with US GAAP.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and reports as needed.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, GL analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations using BlackLine.
• Collaborate with Operations to support inventory, fixed assets, and WIP verifications.
• Identify issues, improve processes, and ensure SOX compliance and internal controls.
