Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an Accountant to join our manufacturing accounting team. The role includes booking journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring SOX compliance across multiple systems including Oracle R12.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of manufacturing accounting experience are preferred; strong Excel skills are essential. The position is hybrid (3 days in office) in Mentor, Ohio, with a salary range of $60,000–$89,600 per year and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle R12 and US GAAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing activities and prepare journal entries; review balance sheets and cut-off procedures.
• Perform balance-sheet account reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Standardize General Accounting processes and implement process improvements.
• Complete cost rolls and coordinate and test SOX controls.
