Job summary

TestingXperts is seeking a Software Quality Analyst specializing in manual testing in Ann Arbor, MI. Collaborate with Dev and Ops to develop and execute QA strategies across web, mobile, and API layers, ensuring code quality throughout design, delivery, and maintenance.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, design test plans, and report clear metrics while performing hands-on testing and validating fixes with developers. Hybrid in-office work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance program with Agile practices.
• 1+ years of experience in Automated Software Quality Assurance practices including BDD/TDD.
• 2+ years of experience of Secure Development Lifecycle processes.
• Experience with identity and access management including user registration, access provisioning, role-based access control and user de-provisioning.
• Experience with QA for eCommerce, SaaS applications, and mobile apps.
• Experience with QA for Mobile websites and Native Mobile applications (iOS, Android, Windows).
• Experience with high-availability architectures in large, heavy-traffic environments.
• Experience testing web applications developed in JavaScript, CSS, XHTML.
• Experience testing backend applications and APIs developed in Java/C# with SQL/NoSQL, and caching technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain the test strategy and test scenarios.
• Participate in developing and documenting user stories, including testing estimates and validation tests.
• Manage the defect log and ensure issues are resolved, including validation of the fix.
• Design and execute cross-system integration tests and regression tests for each release.
• Review automated QA test suites for production validation by Reliability and NOC teams.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and estimate QA strategy for each story.
• Perform manual testing across mobile/web apps, accessibility, and analytics.
