Ally is seeking a QA Analyst to join our hybrid Detroit-area team. You will participate in system and user acceptance testing, define tests and data, and collaborate with product and development groups to validate releases.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles.
• Knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
• Ability to write, modify, and interpret SQL queries for test execution.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and with related tools.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills for stakeholders.
• Strong customer relationship skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand system test requirements and integrated testing activities.
• Provide user acceptance testing prior to production deployments.
• Define appropriate tests and test data for execution.
• Coordinate with requirements gathering and software development teams.
• Run diagnostic and system testing and present results to stakeholders.
• Coordinate post-production validation with stakeholders.
• Contribute to defect management including triaging and clustering.
• Understand different levels of system testing (functional, integration, regression, performance).
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and consistency.
