Job summary

My3tech seeks a Software Quality Analyst specialized in manual testing to join our QA team in Ann Arbor, MI. The role collaborates closely with Development and Operations to ensure overall code quality throughout design, delivery, operations and maintenance.

You will develop test strategies, create and execute manual test cases, validate defects, and participate in cross-system integration and regression testing for each release. Strong knowledge of Agile, API testing, and SQL is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with Agile practices.
• 1+ years of Automated QA practices including BDD/TDD.
• 2+ years of experience in Secure Development Lifecycle processes.
• Experience with identity and access management concepts.
• Experience with QA for SaaS, eCommerce, POS, and mobile apps.
• Experience with mobile/web app QA (iOS, Android, Windows).
• Experience with backend API testing (Java/C#, SQL, NoSQL)
• Knowledge of performance and load testing is a plus.
• Kubernetes/container deployments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document test strategy and test scenarios.
• Create, modify and execute manual test cases.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage and log issues.
• Manage defect log and validate fixes.
• Coordinate dev, QA, and production release activities.
• Perform manual testing across mobile/web, accessibility, and analytics.
• Communicate test plans, reports, and metrics clearly to Agile team.
• Contribute to QA standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Analyze incidents to improve test cases and reduce outages.
• Design cross-system integration and regression tests for releases.
