Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical study.
• 5+ years IT and application development experience.
• 5+ years COBOL coding, testing, and debugging experience.
• 5+ years IBM OS/JCL (MVS) experience.
• 5+ years CICS development, testing, and debugging experience.
• 5+ years IBM DB2 development, testing, and debugging experience.
• 5+ years documenting technical and user specifications.
• 5+ years usability testing and system testing with end users.
• 5+ years developing and supporting stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and modify mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Perform coding, component testing, assembly testing, debugging, and production support.
• Develop and maintain program specifications and technical documentation.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to implement solutions.
• Support maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.
• Participate in database conversion and modernization efforts as needed.
