Job summary

The Nursing Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has multiple openings for full-time Practical Nursing Instructors for the Downtown and the Carrollton Campus. These positions start 8/3/2026.

In this hybrid role, instructors provide didactic and clinical instruction, advise students, and contribute to curriculum development within the Nursing program. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in nursing and a KY nursing license; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing with at least five years of nursing experience.
Unrestricted KY nursing license or compact-state license to practice nursing in KY.
BSN preferred; ADN with BSN in progress; plan to obtain BSN in nursing education within 5 years.
Medical-surgical nursing experience in last 5 years.
Strong written and oral communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office; prior teaching is a plus.

Responsibilities

Full-time didactic and clinical instruction across the Nursing Program.
Academic advising, course and curriculum development, internal/external community service.
Educational leadership and professional development.
