Job summary

Jefferson College of Nursing seeks a Clinical Adjunct Instructor to provide high-quality clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in diverse clinical settings. You will guide students in applying theory to real-world patient care, assess performance, and help foster a supportive learning environment across the clinical component of the program.

The role requires a BSN, current BLS/ACLS certification, PA licensure eligibility (or Compact license), and a passion for teaching future

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Master’s degree highly preferred; if you do not have a master’s, you must be enrolled in a master’s program in nursing.
• BLS and/or ACLS certification required
• Eligible/current for licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or Compact Nursing License
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Utilizes contemporary teaching methodologies in classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical settings
• Evidence of ongoing clinical competency
• Participates in professional activities related to area of clinical expertise
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Enterprise

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in a variety of clinical settings.
• Guide students in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world healthcare scenarios, assessing student performance, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the nursing program faculty and staff to ensure the success of the clinical component of the nursing program.
